ÜRÜMQI IMPRESSIONS

Finally the small bus arrived to Urumqi, Xinjiang’s capital, and maybe the least visualy interesting place of this journey. After those two weeks exploring just a fraction of the immensely diverse and surprising Xinjiang China’s province, I had difficulty to relate to that recent experience. I arrived to a large city, not more interesting than many others I had been before. The days before had been fisically and emotionaly very demanding. Not to mention my leg accident! So, as I was not too excited about this place, I photographed significantly less. The images in this gallery reflect that. They were not, at that time, intended for any future use. (To be continued)
